"The Bible: What it is, Where it Came from, and how Americans Use (and Misuse It)" Given how often the Bible is involved in our current political, cultural, and religious debates, this discussion will shed a light on how the Bible is often used and misused and why ignorance of the Bible has not served us well as a society. The University-Community Forum is one of the programs offered by the ECM at KU. This is a series of free presentations by faculty, students, and community members to educate and facilitate dialogue on ideas and events that shape our society. Talks are from 12-1 pm. An optional lunch is served at 11:30, which costs $3.50 for students and $6.50 for community members.
