The annual KU Vets Day 5K, hosted by the Veterans Alumni Network and KU Student Veterans of America, honors our past/present veterans and raises awareness of the roles veterans play in our university and community. The 5K begins and ends at Memorial Stadium, traveling through the KU campus past KU’s war memorials. All proceeds from the Vets Day 5K support the Lt. Gen. William K. Jones Military-Affiliated Student Center, KU Veterans Alumni Network and the KU Student Veterans of America chapter.

Both in-person and virtual participation options are available. The first 600 participants to sign up will receive a shirt and finisher's medal.

We also seek volunteers to help with various tasks the day of the event.
