DESCRIPTION:Please join us in congratulating the 2022 Woodyard Internationa
 l Educator Award winner\, Elizabeth MacGonagle\, associate professor of hi
 story and African and African-American studies.\n\nThe award recognizes fa
 culty on the Lawrence campus who have demonstrated outstanding leadership 
 in strengthening KU’s international reach in such areas as curriculum de
 velopment\, study abroad programs\, relationship with international partne
 r institutions and collaboration with international colleagues in signific
 ant research and publications. The late George Woodyard\, the first dean o
 f international studies\, and his wife Eleanor endowed the award\, which K
 U International Affairs coordinates.\n\nWe hope you are able to attend Pro
 fessor MacGonagle’s brief lecture followed by a reception on April 19th 
 at 3:30pm at the Burge Union\, Forum A. Those planning to attend the event
