The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is a Fulbright Exchange program specifically for leaders in various fields mostly in the Global South. The Fellowship provides leadership and professional development at U.S. higher education institutions and a network of experts with the goal of creating sustainable change in their fields in their home countries. Each year, 25-30 Fellows come to the University of Kansas for 8 weeks before the official start of the Fellowship to gain experience at a U.S. higher education. As part of this "pre-academic" program, the Fellows have put together presentations about a part of the topic they will spend the next academic year studying.
