The Global Education Academy of the University of Kansas School of Education & Human Sciences, in partnership with the Kansas State Department of Education, presents a hybrid conference for educators at no cost.
This year, we are exploring “Education in an AI World.” Iconoclastic thinkers in education will discuss the rapidly-changing educational landscape during TED-style “EduTalks” on the exciting opportunities and complex challenges offered by artificial intelligence. The event will include “AI Playground” activities in the afternoon, with opportunities for hands-on experience with a variety of AI tools, and ample time for Q&A and networking.
The 2024 Summer Conference will be held on June 14, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CT at KU’s Edwards Campus in the BEST Building. The event is free for educators, and attendees have the option to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. The day’s agenda, speaker lineup and registration details will be announced soon on the event website.
The Global Education Academy is a unit of the School of Education & Human Sciences at KU. The academy draws on leading researchers and practitioners from around the world to provide dynamic and relevant professional development to educators, including micro-credential and micro-learning experiences.
