Join as for this presentation by KU alum Margaret Hu, JD, Davison Douglas Professor of Law, and Director of the Digital Democracy Lab, at William & Mary (W&M) Law School.
In her presentation, Professor Hu will explore the nuanced challenges of AI governance as our Democratic Republic turns 250 years old. What are the promises and the perils of the moment and how might good governance provide a stable foundation the catalyzes innovation while ensuring accountability and oversight? Her new book, AI and Policy, published by Aspen Publishers covers these topics through interdisciplinary frameworks.
This event is presented by AI Governance in the Center for Cyber-Social Dynamics; The Univeristy Honors Program; The Center for Teaching Excellence; The Dole Institute of Politics, and The Commons.
