This is the second keynote speech of  the Global Food (In)Security: Interdisciplinary Perspectives which will take place at KU and online.

Dr. Paul Howe of Tufts University and the UN World Food Program will present Preventing Famine in a Changing World. In a time of increasing famine risk globally, Howe explores a new approach to understanding and potentially preventing these extreme crises. He'll describe 3 enduring paradoxes that complicate the world’s famine prevention efforts and will conclude by presenting an emerging framework for preventing famine in a complex and rapidly changing world. Howe will present at the Sabatini Multicultural Resource Center.
