DESCRIPTION:Andrea Capra holds a Ph.D. in Italian from Stanford University 
 and is currently a Cotsen Postdoctoral Fellow in Princeton University’s Soc
 iety of Fellows. His current book project is entitled Horror Beyond Horror:
  The Unraveling of the World in Modern Italian Literature\, and analyzes ho
 w horror manifests in literary texts beyond the horror genre. Andrea also w
 rites on technoscientific matters\, with a particular focus on the storytel
 ling surrounding artificial intelligence and transhumanism. His work has ap
 peared or is forthcoming in Modern Language Notes\, The Cambridge History o

  Italianistica\, and other venues.
