Join the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for our inaugural Belonging @ KU Series, which is an interdisciplinary, multimodal opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to explore identity, culture, intersectionality, and the meaning of community.

We will be bringing to KU's campus Joaquin Zihuatanejo. "An author, poet, spoken word artist and award winning teacher. Born and raised in the barrio of East Dallas, Joaquin expertly captures the duality of the Chicano culture."

There will be two events:

September 21st: Keynote Presentation 1:00-2:00p.m. Location: Kansas Union: Kansas Room

September 21st: Poetry Workshop 2:30-3:30p.m. Location: Kansas Union: Big 12 Room
