BLACK GIRLS ARE MAGIC ZINE NIGHT

A zine night centering Black womanhood and curating a collaborative zine project celebrating BLACK GIRLS BEING MAGIC. During this session attendees will work on an 8.5 x 11-inch page for inclusion in a collaborative zine project dedicated to Black women and femmes titled, “Black Girls Are Magic.”
 

INAUGURAL BLACK ROSES BLACK WOMEN'S HISTORY WEEK CELEBRATION

The Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity presents the Inaugural Black Roses Black Women’s History Week Celebration in honor of Black Women’s History Week, a framework created by Feminista Jones, honoring the intersectionality of Blackness and womanhood that Black women embody. This is celebrated the last week of Black History Month into Women’s History Month. The Inaugural Black Roses Black Women’s History Week Celebration will feature three events taking place February 26-February 28.
