About this Event
With the progress of nanofluidic devices as tools to manipulate, detect, and identify single biomolecules, the fabrication via molding technologies in plastic substrates has drawn significant interest from biomedical communities as a means of achieving highthroughput manufacturing towards commercialization. Among various plastic molding methods, nanoimprint lithography has mostly been used for plastic nanofluidc devices due to its accessibility. However, NIL is still considered as an intermediate step before true production-type molding technologies such as injection molding and roll-to-roll imprinting are developed. This webinar consists of two parts. First, we will discuss fundamentals of plastic nanomolding technologies including molding and demolding processes. This will be followed by recent development in nanoscale injection molding technology, along with some of nano injection molding results obtained in our Center.
