Live Interactive Panel
Please join us for a live panel featuring Kansas Advocates for Better Care and the School of Social Welfare Sigler Family Aging Scholars to discuss the gap between supply of gerontological social workers and the need for these trained professionals, followed by how we can step into this moment with up-and-coming professionals.
1. Participants will understand the gap between the need for gerontological social workers and the supply of these professionals, and the implications of this shortfall on society’s readiness for changing demographics.
2. Participants will identify strategies they can use to advocate for healthy, sustainable, and engaged futures for aging individuals, within their communities.
