This training introduces an overview of the components of full model DBT including individual sessions, team consultation, phone coaching and skills training. Participants will learn about the function of a diary card and behavior chain in individual sessions, the purpose of therapy to the therapist, coaching call guidelines and structure of skills training sessions.

Presenter:

Marissa Kile, MSW, LCSW, LSCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri. Marissa received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. She has 12+ years experience working with adolescents and adults in correctional, acute, residential and outpatient settings primarily using DBT to help client’s create a life worth living. Currently, Marissa is a clinician and owner at DBT of KC providing fulling model DBT to adolescents and adults.
