In honor of Women's History Month in March, we invite you to the 2nd annual Celebration of Women in Science event at the KU Natural History Museum! Come meet KU scientists, learn about scientific techniques, view specimens and try fun, hands-on experiments at Exploration Stations throughout the museum! Learn about women scientists from around the world and explore a variety of careers in science.

This is a free, all-ages event and refreshments will be served.ย

Exploration Stations include:

๐Ÿ”น Water Quality and Aquatic Ecology with Professor of KU Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Amy Burgin.
๐Ÿ”น Meet Kansas Geological Survey researcher Blair Schneider and the Forensic & Archaeological Subsurface Target (FAST) team, plus try out geology equipment!
๐Ÿ”น Alka Seltzer Volcanos with Dr. Marina Suarez from KU Geology!
๐Ÿ”น Dust & Climate interactions with Dr. Bing Pu from the KU Geography and Atmospheric Science Department!
๐Ÿ”น Phenomenal Physics with Dr. Judy Wu & Barbara Anthony-Twarog from KU Physics and Astronomy!
