Get ready to let your imagination soar at Color the Sky: Kite and Cultural Festival!
Hosted by the KU Area Studies Centers and the Spencer Museum of Art, this family-friendly celebration invites kids (and kids at heart) to explore the world through hands-on fun while celebrating Children's Day, an annual holiday in Japan.
Enjoy kites, crafts, and games inspired by cultures across the globe. Plus, enjoy music and great vibes from student radio KJHK as you explore! Discover exciting traditions, win prizes, and experience the beauty of kites at a special museum exhibit.
You can even make and decorate your very own kite and kaleidoscope to take home. It’s a joyful day of creativity, culture, and high-flying fun you won’t want to miss.
