Carillon concert. Dr. Elizabeth Egbert Berghout, KU University Carillonist, and guest carillonists perform on the 53 bronze bells housed in the historic World War II Memorial Campanile. A few stone benches are available for seating on Campanile Hill; however listeners may choose to bring additional blankets or lawn chairs. The sound of the carillon is best at least 200 feet from the tower. In the event of inclement weather the concert will be canceled.
