About this Event
1425 Jayhawk Boulevard, Lawrence, KS 66045
https://facultyaffairs.ku.edu/new-facultyThe Office of Faculty Affairs invites all new faculty to our New Faculty Foundations 2.0 event: Mentoring 101: Developing your own Mentor Network. Our New Faculty Foundations 2.0 are designed with second-year faculty at KU in mind, but are open to all faculty within their first several years, with relevant topics geared towards all New Faculty experiences. The New Faculty Foundations series offers opportunities to learn about relevant and timely topics as they intersect with the faculty role, as well as time to connect with New Faculty peers over refreshments.
Mentoring 101: Developing your own Mentor Network
Do you have a faculty mentor? How about an entire network of mentors? We know that everyone is unique when it comes to scholarship, how you prefer feedback, what opportunities interest you, and career goals. Join Provost Fellow for Faculty Affairs, Meagan Patterson, as she guides faculty through the NCFDD Mentoring Map and helps you get started in thinking about and creating your own mentor network.
If you have not yet become a member of NCFDD, be sure to check out the benefits and join at this link. KU is an institutional member, which means membership is free for you!
