DESCRIPTION:Red Hot Graduate Research brings together graduate student rese
 archers from all disciplines\, to reveal overlaps and connections across a
 reas of interesting and methodological approaches. The format of these ses
 sions is inspired by Pecha Kucha\, which features short\, slide-based talk
 s that introduce audiences to a topic. Each installment features researche
 rs\, speaking for six minutes each. Audience members are encouraged to con
 nect with the speakers (and each other) during breaks. We hope that throug
 h these sessions\, the University will have a venue for cross-disciplinary
