About this EventAdd to calendar
This is a two-part workshop, to be held Tuesday, Feb 2 AND Thursday, Feb 4 from 10:00-11:00 AM
Data about our courses, our students, and our degree programs are everywhere. Some of this data emerge from our own efforts as instructors and mentors; some come from institutional sources that track things like retention, progression, and enrollment; and still more emanate from external origins like employment data and alumni surveys. This two-part workshop series is designed for faculty practitioners of assessment who seek to merge their department-level data on student learning with other sources of data about their students more generally. It will discuss hybrid assessment concepts such as curriculum traffic models, predictive performance analysis, and cross-course linking of student learning.
These 60-minute workshops will be divided evenly between presentation and active discussion, with an aim to address specific concerns raised by workshop participants. The maximum enrollment is 30 individuals. The workshops will not be recorded, but Joshua Potter is available for direct consultation at email@example.com
