About this Event
1440 Jayhawk Boulevard, Lawrence, KS 66045
The KU Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies and the Department of Slavic, German, and Eurasian Studies are honored to welcome Dora Chomiak, the CEO of Razom for Ukraine on November 12. Dora will give a brownbag presentation at 12pm in Bailey 318 titled "Cultivating Resilience: From the Frontline to Academia."
Razom was founded 10 years ago as an all-volunteer organization. Since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine, the group has delivered over $116M of support to Ukraine and now operates 5 programs in aid and advocacy with a full-time team in both countries as well as a volunteer network.
Razom, which means "together" in Ukrainian, is dedicated to upholding the principles of the Revolution of Dignity (Maidan) and actively contributing to the establishment of a secure, prosperous, and democratic Ukraine. We achieve this by creating, inspiring, and collaborating on initiatives that motivate people to think, partner and do.
