DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on common misdiagnoses of trauma\, why
  inaccurate diagnoses occur\, and how to accurately diagnosis trauma. To f
 ully understand the trauma and adversity of our clients\, we must understa
 nd it within the context of their family. The presenter will discuss strat
 egies for assessing familial trauma and resilience and trauma-informed car
 e as an evidenced-based model for working with youth and adults impacted b
 y trauma. The workshop will discuss the trauma stress response and interve
 ntions to support individuals impacted by trauma triggers. Recipients will
  receive 6 hours of clinical diagnosis and treatment CEUs.
