  patient samples to provide the data for diagnosis and treatment. They wor
 k in hospital labs and clinics\, reference labs\, forensic labs\, veterina
 ry clinics\, industrial research labs and many other places. The bachelor'
 s degree in clinical laboratory science is the only program at KU that pro
 vides the qualifications you need to work in a clinical laboratory. After 
 completing two years of prerequisites\, you'll finish with two additional 
 years of study at KU Medical Center.
