One of the most frequent comments we hear from current students in the KU School of Health Professions is they wish they'd have known much sooner about other careers in health care offered at the KU Medical Center campus.

As medical knowledge and technology advances, the need for specialized health care professionals has increased tremendously. Among them are clinical laboratory scientists, health information managers, and respiratory therapists.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for qualified health care workers in different sectors will increase by at least 16 percent by 2030.
