Earlier this semester, KU IT agreed to purchase a campus-wide site license for the iClicker Cloud Student Response System, which makes it free of charge for all KU courses. The system is easy to implement and allows instructors to engage students in real-time question/answer sessions during class using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The benefits of using iClickers are varied, but include unmasking misconceptions, enhancing student interest and engagement, and providing faculty insights into how students are processing information being presented. 

CTE will offer two 1-hour sessions (Tuesday, Oct. 29: 10-11 am & Wednesday, Oct. 30: 1-2 pm) during which instructors will demonstrate how they have used iClickers to achieve high levels of student engagement and learning.
