KU Faculty Development Academies are day-long intensives, focused on a particular topic, giving faculty time to delve deep and develop a core capacity in a chosen area. Participants are welcome to register for as many dates as they’d like. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided on each academies day.

Whether you are wanting to make progress on a longstanding writing project, conceptualize and plan out a new idea, design materials for a course, or finish a manuscript, our Faculty Writing Circle can help you commit time this spring! We know that teaching, grading, mentoring, and service can push writing to the margins. In this supportive space for concentration and focus, you can dedicate time to your writing without interruption. Bring any writing project, a laptop, and charger – we’ll provide the snacks!
