SPOOKY SEXTIVAL

The purpose of Spooky Sextival is to promote comprehensive sex education that is feminist, queer and trans inclusive, consent based, and pleasure positive as well as to distribute free safer sex and contraceptive methods. In addition, Spooky Sextival advances the KU Student Engagement Center's Femme Frequencies initiative, which works to amplify the creativity of women, femmes, and musicians of marginalized genders while building a feminist community around the joy of sharing music.

FEMINIST FRIGHT FEST

This October, the KU Student Engagement Center is hosting the seventh annual Feminist Fright Fest with the support of campus and community partners. The objectives of Feminist Fright Fest are to provide a platform for horror creatives who are women, femmes, and people of marginalized genders; to explore the horror genre through an intersectional feminist lens; and to offer Halloween-themed programs and community events with a feminist bent. Follow the Fest on Instagram at @feministfrightfest.
