The Film & Media Studies Department invites FMS students to the FMS Film Rally at 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 26th on the Sound Stage, 125 Summerfield Hall!

This year, we'll be featuring collaborative work from FMS Prof. Joshua Miner, FMS Prof. David Mai, and Prof. Matthew Cook from KU Architecture & Design. They will introduce their new Lawrence-based animation studio, Ghost View, as well as present the studio's workflow and plans for the next few years, including feature and short films currently in production.

As part of their presentation, they'll screen a short studio spotlight video and rough-cut teaser trailer for their first release, a Scandinavian fantasy-romance and eco-horror short, Önetta. To be followed by a Q&A with former students working on the production team.

You'll also meet other FMS faculty, staff, and GTA's and learn about opportunities within the department. This is for both new and returning students.
