A grip is a technician who sets up rigging and equipment for cameras and lighting on a filmset. They often operate dollies, tracks, tripods, cranes, and jibs to film a scene as envisioned by the director and the cinematographer.

Ben Krout, who works as a key rigging grip in Hollywood, will demonstrate some of these setups on the FMS Sound Stage, Summerfield Hall, Room 125.
