During this lunch, a panel of KU faculty across the humanities and social sciences will discuss academic journals: the submission process, peer review, editing, and special editions. The panel features:

  • Josh Bolick, Head of the Shulenburger Office of Scholarly Communication & Copyright, KU Libraries

  • Marta Caminero-Santangelo, Distinguished Professor and Chair of English, and Editor, Latino Studies

  • Ayesha Hardison, Associate Professor of English and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Director of the History of Black Writing, and co-editor of Women, Gender and Families of Color

  • Jay T. Johnson, University Distinguished Professor of Geography and director of the Center for Indigenous Research, Science, and Technology, IPSR

  •  Amy Mendenhall, Vice Provost, Faculty Affairs and Professor of Social Welfare
