Undergraduate and graduate students across campus are welcome to participate. Whether you are new to Stata or looking to enhance your skillset, each workshop will begin with basic Stata skills, and the sessions will be non-sequential. Pizza will be provided; register to attend!
More information about each workshop follows:
February 4, 2025: "Data Wrangling," hosted by Dr. William Duncan. In this session, you will learn how to clean and restructure data for analysis. Wrangling is an important step in transforming the data into a high-quality, usable form.
February 11, 2025: "Visualizations in Stata," hosted by Benjy Jacobs. During the data visualization workshop, you will learn how to use Stata to effectively display charts, graphs, and data plots. This hands-on session will show you how to communicate valuable insights.
February 18, 2025: "Stata for Statistical Analysis," hosted by Dr. Carlos Zambrana. For the final session, you will learn essential skills for using Stata to analyze statistics and perform calculations. By the end, you will be familiar with a wide variety of Stata’s statistical capabilities.
