Are your plants overflowing with little pups? Do you want to swap a Pothos for an Arrowhead? Do you have extra seeds that you'd like to swap (or donate to the KU Libraries Seed Library opening in February 2025)?  Does your love and enthusiasm for plants take over conversations at parties? Awesome!! Join us in Watson, 3 West on July 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the first ever KU Libraries Plant Swap.

Bring plants, sprouts, cuttings, or seeds to swap with others.

There will also be a selection of plant-related rare books from Special Collections, Kenneth Spencer Research Library and a crafts table. Become the Daisy you've always wanted to be.

Please make sure plants are pest-free. We also recommend quarantining plants for a minimum of 5 days when you take them home. 

We will have supplies on hand for labelling plants and including additional information new plant owners might need.

There will be a freebies table for plants people want to give away, in addition to plants supplies people no longer need, such as planters, and so on.
