Faculty and instructional staff are invited to the annual KU Teaching Summit on Thursday, August 14, in Lawrence.

The theme of this year’s conference is Empowering Today, Envisioning Tomorrow.

Tia Brown McNair will present the keynote. McNair is a nationally recognized leader on high-impact practices, student readiness, and campus climate. She is a Partner at Sova, a company that facilitates transformative change through actionable strategies and practical implementation support. Prior to joining Sova, she was a Vice President at the American Association of Colleges & Universities. She is the co-author of Becoming a Student-Ready College: A New Culture of Leadership for Student Success.
