Drawing on nationally representative data from the 1996 to 2008 Survey of Income and Program Participation, Claire E. Altman will examine associations between migration status and poverty for immigrants and their children. 

Altman is an associate professor at the University of Missouri with appointments in the Department of Health Sciences and the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs.
