Episodes include late-night-comedy-style monologues reporting climate issues and solutions, interactive audience Q&A segments, and interviews with world-renowned scholars.
Dr. Malena Orduña Alegría studies the relationships between human and water systems. Specifically, their work is centered in agricultural systems, groundwater depletion, and governance. In addition to traditional research methods, Dr. Orduña Alegría creates Serious Games to engage with different communities in understanding the complex factors of decision-making around water use.
Presented in conjunction with GEOG 300 / EVRN 300 - Geographic Adventures in Climate Change, taught by Dr. Shannon O’Lear, professor of Geography & Atmospheric Science and Director of the Environmental Studies Program.
