Research Impact Panel - March 6 - 4-5 p.m. - Spencer Research Library

Today and throughout history—on college campuses and throughout communities—formal and informal spaces for identity formation, individual expression, and collective solidarity have been essential to the well-being and resilience of LGBTQ+ people.

In this session, scholars from the School of Social Welfare and other university departments will share brief research presentations, highlighting insights from their research about the role of place in the development, sustenance, and survival of LGBTQ+ communities.

The brief presentations and subsequent discussion can be accessed both in-person and virtually.

For participants attending in person at Spencer Research Library, refreshments will be served at a reception following the event.
