As part of a Fullbright Hays Group Project, Raúl was a group captain that organized a trip to meet the Maleku people. They set out to uncover as much as they could surrounding Maleku food, medicine, language, customs, connections to other Indigenous groups and their relationship with the Costa Rican government and non Indigenous ranchers.
