Many students see class assignments as little more than pesky notices on a Canvas to-do list. Deeper learning, though, takes time, practice, and persistence. In this session, we will discuss ways to create assignments that engage students from the start and encourage them to takeĀ the necessary timeĀ and ownership to succeed in their coursework and their learning. Led by Ali Brox (Environmental Studies) and Doug Ward (CTE/Journalism and Mass Communications). Lunch provided for in-person attendance. Register to save your place.
