About this Event

https://facultyaffairs.ku.edu/new-facultyThe Office of Faculty Affairs invites all faculty to our Early Career Faculty Foundations event: Developing your Scholarly Footprint with Research Partnerships. Our Early Career Faculty Foundations are designed with first-, second-, and third-year faculty in mind, but this session is open to all faculty who would like to make more impactful research connections across KU.
The Early Career Faculty Foundations series offers opportunities to learn about relevant and timely topics as they intersect with the faculty role, as well as time to connect with colleagues over light refreshments.
Developing your Scholarly Footprint with Research Partnerships
As a faculty member at KU, scholarship has a role in all that we do. Whether you are conducting your own research, leading research teams, finding ways to introduce and infuse research in the classroom, and/or engaging in scholarly conversations to inform your work at KU (which we all do!), this session is for you. KU has a wealth of resources and support for all aspects of the faculty role, and as you continue to develop your scholarly footprint this session will introduce you to the directors of the Hall Center for the Humanities, the Institute for Policy and Social Research, The Commons, and the Center for Research Methods Consultation. Our conversation will cover the various ways you can connect and get involved, access the valuable resources each has to offer, and continue to network and build your scholarly impact. We look forward to seeing you there!
