Public Ribbon Cutting of the Dirt Works Studio Polaris Pavillion.

Completed last semester by third-year design-build students in our Dirt Works Studio, the Polaris Pavilion is an ADA-accessible shelter with built-in tables and seating located at Well’s Overlook Park south of Lawrence. Nestled within a grove of red cedar, honey locust, hackberry, and other native trees, the Pavilion offers Douglas County residents and visitors a peaceful place to gather and enjoy the seasons.

More information about Well's Overlook and previous studio project, the Passerine Pavillion can be found at the Douglas County Website.
