DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 13th\, 6 pm - 7:30\, join the Emily Taylor 
 Center for Women & Gender Equity and campus partners at the Spencer Museum
  of Art for the release of Disability Justice is a Feminist Issue\, a coll
 aborative zine project complementing the 2022-2023 KU Common Book Program\
 , which features Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twen
 ty-First Century\, edited by Alice Wong.\n\n \n\nIn celebration of the zin
 e’s material and digital release\, a panel of its contributors will refl
 ect on their submissions. Panelists will include KU students Jenna Essenma
 cher\, Salem Sanfilippo Solindas\, and Monty Protest among others. Followi
 ng the panel discussion\, the audience is welcome to engage the zine’s c
 reators in a Q&A. \n\n \n\nAll attendees will receive FREE hard copies of 
 Disability Justice is a Feminist Issue.\n\n \n\nMasks strongly recommended
 . Because this event centers people with disabilities\, we encourage atten
 dees to wear masks as an expression of community care. Free masks (KF94s o
