SafeZone is a national training program which helps to give allies the tools to make their spaces more accommodating for queer and trans* (QT) students. This is a starting resource, as we’ll discuss later near the end of this session, as transformative allyship is an extended, ever-shifting role. That said, this session hopes to give foundational information that can start to help you think critically about the position of queer and trans* people in all of the different spaces that you occupy throughout your day.
