Join us at Free State Brewing Company for Science on Tap with Dr. Carlton Shield Chief Gover, Archaeology Curator at the KU Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum and Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology. This talk will reveal how artifacts from the Great Plains and beyond provide invaluable perspectives on past lifeways, environments, and cultures. Plus, learn about innovative techniques used to preserve, study, and share these collections, including 3D scanning and online accessibility.
This free presentation/Q&A is open to the public and will be held in the beer hall area at Free State Brewing Company.Please note that seating is limited, so we encourage you to arrive early!
