Top scientists work feverishly in a secret, state-of-the-art laboratory to discover what killed the citizens of a small town and how the deadly contagion can be stopped. SciFlix is a community outreach effort designed to openly and honestly discuss science, theories, and ethics in popular fiction. Films begin at 6:30 p.m. in Regnier Hall Auditorium. Following the film, Brendan Mattingly, program director of applied biological sciences, and Melissa Daggett, lab manager and instructor of applied biological sciences and biotechnology, will be the featured panelists. They will discuss molecular biology, infectious disease, and the evolution of pathogens.
