Sistah Circle is a monthly space dedicated to centering the health and wellness of Black women and femmes. Facilitated by Nikita Haynie, Advisor of GEMS, Sistah Circle sessions hold space for intentional community, wellness practices, and strategies to enhance the health of Black women and femmes. In the words of Black feminist bell hooks, “choosing wellness is an act of political resistance.”
