Join the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity, in collaboration with G.E.M.S. (Gifted Empowered Motivated Sisters), for Sistah Circle, a monthly space dedicated to centering the health and wellness of Black women and femmes.
Sistah Circle sessions will hold space for intentional practices and strategies to enhance the health and wellness of Black women and femmes. In the words of Black feminist bell hooks, “choosing wellness is an act of political resistance.”
Sessions are facilitated by Nikita Haynie, Director of the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity.

This session will center around safeguarding your energy and recognizing patterns that either deplete or replenish us, drawing on Yasmine Cheyenne's distinctive metaphor of "the sugar jar."
