About this Event

https://nativeplants.ku.edu/public-gardens-2/medicinal-plant-gardenJoin KU faculty, staff and students for our informal garden tour, led by Kelly Kindscher, Kansas Biological Survey & Center for Ecological Research scientist and professor in the KU Environmental Studies Program, and botanist Jennifer Moody. We will explore the garden and see the work of the Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners, who partner with our research center to manage the garden. The tour will end before dark, but visitors are welcome to stay and watch the sunset.
The garden, which is part of the KU Field Station, is open every day, dawn to dusk. It is a short drive from downtown Lawrence at 1865 E 1600 Road in Douglas County, next to Prairie Moon Waldorf School just north of Highway 24/40. See images from last year's tour on YouTube.
