The KU Summit on Community-Engaged Learning and Scholarship is hosted by the Center for Service Learning in collaboration with the KU Libraries and The Commons.

The goal of the CELS summit is to engage, connect, and support faculty, staff, and administrators who have interest in: 

addressing community-identified issues through service-learning, community-engaged scholarship, or civic engagement;

enhancing campus partnerships to support collaboration with community residents or organizations to build and disseminate knowledge that advances and strengthens communities;

examining the commitment of the public university in contributing to addressing societal issues through campus and community partnerships
