DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, college students are more likely than ever to be diag
 nosed with anxiety and depression\, and deal with the impact of trauma. Ma
 ny students are neurodivergent\, and/or have a variety of disabilities inc
 luding so-called invisible disabilities such as learning and language diso
 rders. Students facing barriers to access may or may not have documentatio
 n that makes them eligible for accommodations through the Student Access C
 enter\; accommodations available through the SAC may not be equally helpfu
 l to every student in need. In addition\, COVID-19 and other illnesses con
 tinue to impact the campus\, causing students to miss classes and fall beh
 ind. \n\n \n\nIn this workshop\, a group of faculty and staff at the foref
 ront of inclusive practices at KU will share our innovations and approache
 s to disability and neurodivergence inclusion and trauma-informed pedagogy
 . We will engage in dialogue across disciplines\, and discuss what worked 
 and what did not work as well. This workshop paves the way to a yearlong s
 eminar on disability and neurodivergence inclusion which we hope to offer 
 through CTE in AY 24-25. \n\n \n\n With Dea Follmer\, CTE/Psychology\; Meg
