In this panel discussion, leaders of the KU School of Social Welfare will introduce participants to the online Doctor of Social Work degree and provide examples of how DSWs are shaping social work organizations, advancing practice, and contributing to the profession’s collective efforts to solve problems and improve well-being.

The Doctor of Social Work degree bridges research and practice. The DSW equips students to solve problems of practice and to teach future generations of social workers to approach research with a commitment to community utility.
