The Academy #NoFilter offers graduate students a chance to learn about common academic and professional experiences that we rarely talk about. Speakers inform conversation through research and experience, sharing information that is relevant for graduate students interested in pursuing careers in the academy and those entering other professional fields.

Join us for a panel with faculty, researchers, and alumni to discuss promotion and tenure and career advancement through a variety of career paths and institutions. We'll discuss what promotion and tenure is, how it looks across disciplines and institutions, as well as tips for navigating the process, as well as career advancement outside of the academy.
